Change Your Password! Change your Twitter password now. Twitter has announced that more than 250,000 twitter accounts are hacked and this time it is a sophisticated algorithm.

On Friday night last day (1-2-2013); one of the most popular social networking website (Twitter) identified some irregular and unusual patter in the log-in algorithm of users and after that the website tweeted.

“As a precautionary security measure, we have reset passwords and revoked session tokens for these accounts. If your account was one of them, you will have recently received (or will shortly) an email from us at the address associated with your Twitter account notifying you that you will need to create a new password. Your old password will not work when you try to log in to Twitter.”

With this attack the hackers are now having the access to the personal information of about 250k Twitter users including email, Passwords, Session tokens and contact information.

Bob Lord has also said this attack in not committed by a novice group of college going students; this time it is something serious; something really ‘Sophisticated’. No matter when the company will solve up the issue but it is undoubtedly the time for every one of you to change the password of you Twitter account and do check your mail for any notification.
